GREAT JAZZ GIG AT CASA DEL MAR HOTEL IN SANTA MONICA

Amazing gig last Friday night with a jazz quartet at the beautiful Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica. Sang with the best of the best. Don Allen on Drums, Rob Mullins on Piano, Clarence Robinson on Bass, and David Wise on Sax. Looking forward to the next one! We played for the California Restaurant Association and its Annual Elizabeth Burns Lifetime Achievement Award Dinner. This year's recipient was Selwyn Yosslowitz, an amazing man who has achieved so much and given back to so many. It was an honor playing at this event.

In Concert With The Jazz Monks

On Sunday afternoon, November 14th, I had the great fortune of working with my jazz band in Downey, California. We performed a concert of jazz standards from the Great American Songbook. We covered instrumentals that included A Train, Song For My Father, Blue Monk, and East Of The Sun. My vocals included such tunes as Witchcraft, I Only Have Eyes For you, Autumn Leaves, and Saturday Night Is The Loneliest Night Of The Week. It was so amazing to perform the Sammy Cahn/Jule Styne classic Saturday Night Is The Loneliest Night, because 66 years to the day, back in 1944, Sinatra recorded the tune!!! Thanks to the great audience who just seemed to eat it all up. We look forward to returning soon.

Gatlin's House Warming Party

What an incredible night! Just a magnificent venue and party. A great night of standards with the BBC Trio. Thanks to my band mates Chris Glik and Bram Glik for an amazing gig. I hope to play for the Gatlin's again. Outstanding people with amazing friends. This is what life is all about. I wish the Gatlin's nothing but the best in their amazing new home, be it Night & Day, on A Foggy Day, or during the Days Of Wine And Roses!
